About us

Bob and Liza started making bird boxes as a hobby.

We love our home and we love nature and like many others, during the lockdown we started spending a lot more time in our garden and started making bird boxes, bird tables, squirrel feeders and hedgehog homes.

We enjoyed it so much that we decided to make them for a local care home so that the residents could watch them from their windows. We got such a great response to this, with people wanting to buy them, we decided to set up as “Bird & Lodgings”.

We believe in caring for people, nature and our planet in every aspect and all our products are made with nature in mind. Every product is made with a minimum of 70% reclaimed wood which we source and buy. All our products are durable, weather resistant, solid wood which is triple stained for protection using water-based wood stain only.
